My son was scheduled for a dental procedure on December 1st. We woke up at 3am to get ready, and we had SEVERAL inches of snow and ice. The roads were not safe to travel on. I called the surgery center when they opened, and-after getting no answer at the office- sent a text back to the number we were texted from with the arrival time-- explaining the situation and asking to reschedule. Very frustrated. Today I had an appointment scheduled for my 2 year old daughter at 10:15 I got to the office and called to check in around 9:55 (mind you my daughter is already anxious about being in a new environment and this would be her first time at the dentist)and the lady on the phone at that time said she was pulling up my paperwork and will get us called in. We have been going here for 4 years for our 3 children. One time on our way there I got a flat tire and had to cancel. I was told we couldn’t cancel because it’s same day.... had to explain a flat from a bolt isn’t something that can really be helped. Today I receive a call saying my children are due for a 6 month check up. I was told they were put down as no shows for their last appointment even though I called as soon as I found out we had to cancel the day before. The Dentists and staff were wonderful with my 5 year old daughter. She had previous work at another office, so she was a bit nervous when she first entered the office. After talking with Dr Zak and his assistant, she bravely walked back. Thank you for delivering the care she needed in such a compassionate manner.

After we were dismissed by staff for my son having life threatening emergencies, the dentist personally called me and apologized, told me he'd listen to the call and make it right. I really appreciate him caring enough to personally call us and apologize and promise to make it right. Most wouldn't do that. He was really genuine about it too. The dentists there have always been good with my son. We only ever had the problem with reception dropping him for things he couldn't help. Such a wonderful pediatric dentist office. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming- and so good with little ones. The dentist are all excellent. My kids primarily see Dr. Bowen, who is thorough, so sweet and patient. Cannot day enough good things about this practice.

All five of our children receive pediatric dental care from Bluegrass Pediatric Dentistry. The entire staff is wonderful. They are efficient (quick) so that helps with my active kids. The space is set up well for my other children to be engaged while brothers and sisters get taken care of. They have positive experiences with the dentists so they are excited when it’s time for a visit. The environment is fun and playful. My kids love it and my wife and I really appreciate Bluegrass Pediatric Dentistry for making dental visits... read more
