Tenant at property: Pennsylvanian Apartments #**** Prolonged diminished living standards and aggressive staff. Greystar, who oversees The Pennsylvanian Apartments Property management, is allowing staff at *********** to go unchecked.The entire Summer of 2022 (May to August) there was no air conditioning in the building. We live in a property owned by GreayStar now, we moved in when it was owned by Watermark and they were wonderful. Under new management (GreyStar) this property is dirty, it stinks and it has a management team that brushes off any complaints or requests. Do not move here, there were issues of our lease being lost and they asked for us to submit proof of the original lease or resign a new one at a much higher price. They make us pay for parking $10 a month JUST TO TOW YOU FROM THE SPOT YOU OWN. I had low air and they towed me. There's trash all over the community, my back glass was broken out over night due to vandalism a few months ago. This place doesn't have much "luxury' to it at all. Just more out of pocket costs for renters. $500 to replace my backwind shield they said they werent responsible and now another couple hundred to get my car out from towing which they also aren't responsible for. There are multiple issues, it came to the point where we did not feel like it was safe to live in the apartments. There were neighbors that would get drunk late at night and pound on doors, cops were called multiple times for disturbances in the complex and at the pool. A large kitchen knife was found in the kid's playground. Trees broken daughters scooter stolen and thrown into the lake. Living at Avana Cordoba has been the worst renting experience I have had in my life. My fiance and I moved in on December 1st. We were supposed to move into the largest 2 bedroom 2 bathroom floorplan. We had reserved the unit over 3 months before we were meant to move in. When we arrived to get our keys, they told us the apartment was not ready and wouldn't be for 2 days. There was no communication prior to us arriving on site about a delay. Poorly trained staff and major appliance breakdowns in the first 2 months include washer/dryer (4 requests to fix it took a month), refrigerator (2 requests and a month) and the heat pump (3 requests). If I put in a maintenance request I can count on having to make at least two followups to ensure that it's acted on, understood, scheduled, etc. There is no process for followup or responses, you basically just wait until you have to go back and ask them again.
