I slept comfortably on clean sheets and saved a lot of money in the process. The carpet was stain and stick free, the bathroom was clean, the closet had ample room with a door, and the TV was digital with the basic cable package. I prefer to spend less money than more per night when a least expensive room is equipped with the basics. We had two comfortable queen beds, a private patio, endless coffee to brew, and beautiful trees to give us privacy and the feeling that we were away. My sister and I stayed here by chance enroute down the Californian coast. We were initially trying to stay closer to the ocean, but left our booking to late and hence ended up exploring Carmel Valley, and what a delightful surprise it was! The Lodge provided a very comfortable stay and the quaint little town is filled with wonderful restaurants, wineries and more. We had a wonderful time here and will be back for a longer stay to explore the area more thoroughly sometime soon.
Very nice quiet rooms (all separated) with their own courtyard. Very friendly staff. Short walk to town and wine tasting!
