I cannot say enough good things about Blue Ridge Dermatology. Dr. Cathcart is absolutely amazing and her staff is first class. I recently switched insurances and had to switch my prescriptions over to the new insurance. I take an expensive medication that has to have a prior authorization. I worked with Brande' Thompson who is Blue Ridge Dermatology’s Biologics Coordinator. She went above and beyond to help me get this medication approved with my insurance. I’ve been going here since I moved to the area in 2017. Caroline Day is amazing. No matter what strange things are going on with your skin, she is kind and compassionate, and validates your experience. Her presence is calming and she treats you like a friend, not just another patient. She is knowledgeable and offers multiple treatment options for any issues. The staff is also friendly and helpful and quick to smile and laugh, something much needed these days. I highly recommend them!
Great listener, good communication. You can’t exaggerate how important good communication is at the dermatology office. Dr Nikita Goel takes your concerns seriously, provides as much detail as you need to make decisions. Finally, she has a great temperament. Very happy to have found her.
