Ibis Bay is a Cool Waterfront Place This is a very hip place with a very cool vibe. The whole place looks like the cabana tents they used to have in the 50s and 60s. Striped canvas awning, old French cafe chairs, hammocks, etc. My wife loved the restaurant. Its on the waterfront. Great breakfast. We fed the fish at the dock and saw a manatee up close for the first time. They have bands every night and a crowded bar scene at night. This is what I imagined Key West to be. Horrible - Liars! The hotel left me with BED BUG BITES on my legs! I don't know how the reviews are positive for this hotel. I was hoodwinked, they LIED about complete renovation of the hotel. It was in DEPLORABLE condition and they trick you by asking if you want courtyard or waterfront rooms. If you say waterfront BEWARE! The rooms do NOT look like the pictures, there are NOT flat panel TV's and contrary to their lies, they have not upgraded. There is NO iron, NO ice machine (restaurant only) , No clock, No closet - Restro... read more
Disgusting!!!!! Absolutely the worst lunch we've ever had!! Mahi Mahi sandwich was overcooked (burnt) batter loaded with grease....sent it back and ordered a salad and that was kind of ok. The waitress knew it looked horrible too. Also had shrimp with beans and rice.....disgusting...shrimp was also burnt on bottom!! $21.95 for that!! Ordered a pina colada and a daiquiri...came back as a strawberry daiquiri....both drinks had no alcohol in them...was like drinking syrup. Took 20 minutes to get the drinks because our waitress ... read more
