one of our favs! – My husband and i have been coming here for a little over a year now (since the day he proposed!). It was reccomended by my good friend, who is Japanese. The sushi is far from high priced, and the hibachi plates are VERY good (I've noticed that many places will either have good sushi or hibachi, but this has BOTH)! I LOVE SUSHI!! – If you like sushi, then this is the place to eat! I have eaten sushi all over the US and Canada and Blue Fish is awesome for the price! Some friends introduced me to the restaurant a few months ago and I go there whenever I crave sushi and have not been disappointed once! I recommend Blue Fish for fresh yummy sushi at a decent price with a relaxing atmosphere!
Rustic and Serene – I like the quaintness of it all. The dinner begins with a brisk walk through a wooded parking lot. Then the dinner seems to take place in a log-cabin-esque setting. Like the attention and like the sushi. I'll be back for something more.
Wow- these reviews seem exagerated – I read all the reviews and was expecting somethig really special, but I have to say I was very dissapointed. This is an average Sushi bar, but not a grreat one.
My Favorite Sushi Place – I love this place. It's in very cute small building. The origami that decorates the restaurant adds a beautiful touch. I have tried several things on the menu but my favorites for sushi are the volcano roll and the veggie tempura roll. Also, love the crisp roll and mango roll (very different and tasty). For the cooked side of the menu the Fly Me to the Moon is my favorite. They really know how to cook their tofu. Excellent choice for Sushi! – Took my sister there for her birthday and they took good care of our family. They pay atention to details and aim to please; not to mention the sushi is very good.
User review by as1an – This restaurant is the place to be if you like sashimi (raw fish without rice) or sushi. I wouldn't recommend any other Japanese food items such as their tempura since the batter wasn't crispy at all. You'll also need some good tires to drive onto their bumpy lot and a few extra steps to walk outside of their establishment to use the restroom.
The Best Sushi – This cute little sushi house tucked inside Richmond is by far one of the best Japanese restuarants in Houston. Its small yes, but the food is great. The rolls are incredibly delicious, and the prices are decent. The service was good, but most of all, the quality of the food was sensational. If you like sushi, you must try Blue Fish!

We are able to order exactly what we want without having to sift through a 12 page menu and compare combination platters. On it's worst day Blue Fish House has been as good as the more expensive restaurants and on it's best it has been so much better!! The atmosphere is also nice, making it a great place for a dinner for two...
