High Tech Office Friendly office, nice environment. Beachy area, gay friendly staff, good with the animals. They seem to care about their clients, and their patients, and walk each animal by itself while boarding to ensure your pet gets some one-on-one attention time while you are away. I wouldn't go any where else The Vets, nurses, caregivers and staff at Blue Cross Veterinary Hospital in Signal Hill is by far the best. I live in Hollywood and drive 30 miles to see them. Not only are they professional, courteous, they are also reasonable. Both Dr. Hicks and Dr G. are exceptional. They understand your pet but at the same time are able to communicate effectively with you to give you a good understanding of what is happening and what the solutions are. Two Paws Up for BCVH The level of care I received for my St Bernard at Blue Cross was excellent. Like many others I am immediately suspicious of any operation that will not allow people in their back room and I went to look on my own without permission and I saw a clean, well stocked and managed area. This was my first experience there and it will not be my last. The "back" room... I agree, the staff is very nice, but I wonder about what I am not supposed to see in the "back", where pet owners are not allowed to go ever! When you first arrive with your pet, they take your pet into the "back, weigh them, and get their temperature and you can't go with them. Then when you get the annual shots, again, they take the animal in the "back" and administer the shots and you can't be there with your pet to provide comfort.
