Top Notch Blue Cross Verterinary Hospital is the best! I have taken my pets to other hospitals and not been very happy with the level of service, staff competence.and professionalism. I found Blue Cross Veterinary Hospital and couldn't be happier, they are spot on! I don't mind driving 45 minutes up from Orange County to Blue Cross, it's worth it! My dog could not be more excited to be there, no matter if he is there for shots, an exam or a bath and the staff and doctors are just as excited to see him. I like that the doctor... read more

for all pet owners When you get a pet, you have to immediately take it to the vet to have it fully examined and have a stool check. i feel bad for the owner of kamir that her pet have feline leukemia. i had a cat with the same thing he died at 3 of a cold. the difference is, is that i took the cat to the vet right away and he was diagnosed and i kept him inside to prevent spreading it. i also had him neutered. and unless it was tapeworms that your pet had, you obviously weren't taking care of your pet if it had other parasit... read more

They care about pets!!! If you are looking for a friendly place that will take care of your pets this is it. The staff is nice, the doctors explain things well, and there is parking available. I have been bringing my dogs and cats here for several years and I highly recommend them!

I wouldn't go any where else The Vets, nurses, caregivers and staff at Blue Cross Veterinary Hospital in Signal Hill is by far the best. I live in Hollywood and drive 30 miles to see them. Not only are they professional, courteous, they are also reasonable. Both Dr. Hicks and Dr G. are exceptional. They understand your pet but at the same time are able to communicate effectively with you to give you a good understanding of what is happening and what the solutions are. The staff has never failed to properly explain how to pro... read more

Two Paws Up for BCVH The level of care I received for my St Bernard at Blue Cross was excellent. Like many others I am immediately suspicious of any operation that will not allow people in their back room and I went to look on my own without permission and I saw a clean, well stocked and managed area. This was my first experience there and it will not be my last. I recently took my dog to a vet nearby because I was upset and in a hurry and failed to read the sign but saw a blue building and assumed it was Blue Cross. I was o... read more

Adminstrative Hurdles While the quality of veterinary care seem very good, the support staff are not very helpful. Getting the smallest amount of information about a pet's status, details on medication, advice on treating pets after procedures, etc. is nearly impossible. This fact makes the overall experience less than favorable.

Pets lovers be warned!!! I'm burying my 1 year old cat today. A little over a month ago I took my seemingly healthy Kamir to be spayed. I learned that she had feline leukemia, also a couple of parasites and worms. I received meds for all the conditions except leukemia. I couldn't get Kamir to take all the medications, so like the instructions I was sent home with indicated, I called Blue Cross to let them know that I wasn't able to administer all the meds. The person that answered the phone told me "you need to figure it out... read more

Great Experience! This was a great experience, from the beginning, when I walked in, to the end when they met me outside with my bunny! The staff was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. The Vet was also just as great, if not more! The hospital was very clean and organized. Will be my official vet. hospital, will definitely recommend!
