Great Haircut! – Paul is great!!!! I love my haircut! I brought in some photos of haircuts/styles that I wanted to achieve with my hair and asked him what it would take and if it was doable or not. He looked through it and assessed my hair and gave me the perfect haircut to achieve the look I wanted! I never thought I'd be able to get this style with my hair type because I have really thick, heavy hair and the look I was going for was romantic and wispy. Thanks Paul!!!!
Emily = miracle worker – I came to Blue Chair after an awful experience with a color correction at Bliss (this is when you screw up your own hair trying to be thrifty with home hair color and end up paying twice as much to have a professional fix what inevitably goes wrong.) My home hair color was live-able, just not what I wanted, but the girl at Bliss made it a LOT worse and then refused to fix it. Finally! Just GREAT HAIR. – I was first introduced to Paul Kovacevic's work when he did the hair for all of the models in a fashion show I was in a couple years ago. Great hair stylest!!! – I want to say thank you Paul for making my hair look so great, you did a great job i highly recommand you to all my friends for the way your treat your customers and how you understand the style they want. Best in Portland – I have been seeing Paul exclusively since I?ve been in Portland, about 4 years, and he has consistently given me cuts and color that exceed my expectations. He?s given me style changes over the years that have the current feel, even with the same length hair. The best part is how long lasting his work is?I?ve gone months between cuts/color and the style has grown out beautifully. I trust Paul 100%. He?s attentive and truly seems to love what he does. Give Paul a try, you won?t be sorry.
Not consistent – I have had excellent cuts and color from Paul ~ but more recently I've also had a really horrible cut. Am debating about whether to return or not at this point. His prices are not all that competitive...and when the cuts are bad, it feels like it's worth looking around for someone that is more consistent.

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!! – I don't usually post reviews, but I just had to show some love for Paul and the Blue Chair Crew. I have bery hard to manage curly hair, and paul managed to give me the perfect cut for Oregon's rainy climate....no more frizz!! Just a beautiful layered cut that flatters my bone structure and highlights that bring out my eyes. I feel 10 years younger and 10 pounds thinner! Now THAT'S a great STYLIST!! Best Hair Cut, Best Color...Awesome Salon – I moved here from Los Angeles three months ago and began my search for a great hairstylist and color specialist. First I tried Dosha since I used Aveeda products (23rd & Glisan)...very nice space...very pricey (I don't mind paying for a great cut and color believe me.) but the cut & color was mediocre at best.
