This is a really nice reasonable priced restaurant with great food. They accommodated my high school Marietta High (9/22). Awesome hospitality and service. I live here in Northwest DC and I’ll go back there to eat.
The service is great , The atmosphere is awesome and The Chef James Turner is amazing! I love to eat good food and this place has it! I drove and hour and a half to get here and it is worth it!
I graduated from high school with James, the Chef at Blue 44, and have known him for a very long time. He has always been a kind, honest and conscientious individual. He is truly passionate in all things that he creates and he cares about quality and sustainability. The ingredients are fresh and local and he prepares everything that he makes with great care. Absolutely the best Tomato soup I’ve ever had...And the crab cake with arugula salad was amazing!!! Very nice restaurants with good service and high quality food.
