My daughter and I went to get our hair styled today. My daughter was with a woman named Danielle. I don't know if she is particularly bad with long hair, or what the issue was. My daughter said she was yanking and pulling her fine hair, and she could see it breaking. The hair now looks damaged. This place is very inconsistent. I lived in San Francisco and would always go to Dry Bar there and once moved to Houston the next thing to it was Blow Dry Bar. The concept is the same, except at Blow Dry Bar they charge you extra based on your hair. I have thick, long hair that requires to use a blow dryer and straightener and I made sure to let the person servicing my hair know that - she only used a blow dryer to straighten my hair and I was shocked when she told me she was "done" after blow drying. Made an appointment over the phone and showed up for my appointment the next day at the River Oaks location. Was told that my appt was at the Voss location, and they couldn't help me. First, I didn't know there was more than one location and Second, the person I talked to on the phone was more interested in getting my cc number and didn't bother to confirm location.
