Horrible experience! The staffs are indifferent to donors, particular if you are not their own people! Last time, I was freezing with hypocalcemia, nobody was around. Luckily, I had Tums in my purse. I was feeling sick after donation, they told me to leave. I ended up sitting in my car for 15 mins before I could leave! I donate platelets to save life, the experience prevents me from going back!

If you donate once, the center will never stop calling you to come back. Even when you're not eligible yet because you just recently donated. I got called early this morning (on a Saturday, when a lot of people sleep in) and was left a rude message saying they've been calling me for 6 months to schedule an appointment and I needed to either schedule one or have them take me off the donor list. I just became eligible to donate again today; I did a double donation in February. This isn't the first time I've gotten called right... read more
Recommendedphlebotomist are wonderful . the people there care about the donors. the entire staff is amazing. always clean and very safe
Gave and received with multiple areas involved. Very professional. However, I did take notice a certain amount of females and skin tones were present at the computer and during administering
I read that the blood bank is short of donors, so I called and asked if they had any open appointments tonight. I was told, "NO." I then asked if I could just walk in and donate. Again, I was told, "NO." I asked why. The person on the phone stated that people can't congregate in the waiting room. I asked him why we couldn't wait in our individual cars. He responded, "NO." Guess what happens when beggars become choosy???? smh
