I’ve been donating platelets for years and years! Before that, I’d been donating whole blood for years and years! The phlebotomists are fantastic!!!
Was given a false positive reading 23 years ago. Years after I went to my primary care and was tested specifically for this, which showed up negative! Went to give blood today and was denied. Spoke with Mia (very nice) and she explained that at some point possibly being able to re-enter and be retested. Just not happy with being labeled "false positive".

Spending a little time to donate blood that may help others give you a warm feeling. The staff at the Omega branch of the Bloodbank of Delmarva are the best !!!
Such an awesome experience - all the staff/volunteers are amazing. So kind, calming and generous. Best place to donate blood. Their snacks and drinks provided after the blood donation is top notch as well. The staff get you in and out in a timely manner. They are professional, and the building is super clean.
