The highest level of competence, care and compassion. They serve numerous hospitals, etc. Platelets are used especially for children and babies at A. I. DuPont Hospital. Of course, whole blood and double donations of red cells are sent where these products are needed. I encourage EVERYONE who is able to come in. Remember that the shelf life of these very precious fluids is short; they can’t be stored without them breaking down.
