This is all around....... a feel good kinda place! – I love the salons dramatic splashes of color that spill from wall to wall, the furniture is eye candy, and the people are fun and enthusiastic. Needless to say the day I visited Bliss I was in need of some enthusiasm and I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was with my experience. Great Color and Cut! – Bliss is a clean, comfortable and relaxing salon. I particularly like my stylist, Gina. I have always gotten wonderful haircuts and color jobs- each time I go to her, i get compliments. Definitely worth the trip!
Andrea is geat! – My hair has never looked so good, I'm trilled with this salon. The waxing was great-- not too overzealous and the manicure was fast and lasted longer than most. Great place.
I didn't connect with my hairstylist. – I didn't feel that i was listened to. I have been to some upscale salons and i was trying to get away from that. I went to Bliss, they say they are not uptight. Maybe not , but they are also not that great either. It may just be me. It's not upscale this was true, And that was what i was looking for but i also guess i was looking for a little more. The prices were too high for what you get. I won't be back.
Love the Salon ...very comfortable . Nicole is truly a gifted artist! – I wanted an updated look because I sell lia sophia Fashion Jewelry and need to look as chic as my products. I read the reviews about Nicole and decided to see her. She was great to listen to me and quickly discussed what would look good. I tried something new and LOVE it! – I just went and got a cut and coler from Nicole, She rocks! I've never had bangs before and wanted to try something new, I totally trust her so I asked what she thought about having bangs, she did an AWESOME job. I love my new do!! I also got a couple feather extensions and I LOVE them too, Ive been getting alot of compliments on those. Anyway, just wanted to share that if you want to try something new, go see Nicole!
Blissful Gina – Whenever I'm in town Gina cuts my hair. I met her at her old salon, and I just got my hair done again at her new place -- Bliss. What a great place! Very mellow and drama-free. The cut, of course, was great, and I'm glad to see her in a new workplace. If Gina hasn't done your hair yet, and you're looking for a new stylist, I highly recommend her. She's friendly, attentive to your needs, and actually listens! She'll cut your hair the way *you* want it cut.
See Gina for the best haircut in PDX. – I've gotten mediocre, and sometimes downright bad haircuts at various places in Portland over the years. Recently, though, I've begun getting my haircut by Gina at Bliss, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. relaxing friendly people. – I had a very pleasant experience at Bliss. I went in looking for a new look. Cut, color you name, it I just wanted something new. Nicole was fabulous she did a great cut and rather than convincing me to go for a new color too she convinced me that a new "sassy" cut was all I needed. I really appreciated that fact that she didn't try to sell me more services than I needed. The atmosphere was relaxed and I really felt that Nicole took a genuine interest in my needs. I will definately go back.
