Full Highlight and haircut – I am writing this review to let others know how absolutely fantastic my hair looks!! It's all thanks to Nicole, my stylist at Bliss. She has a wonderful disposition and is master of her domain. Wow!! Everyone has been commenting on how awesome my hair looks, so I just wanted to write a little thank you about her tremendous skills as a hairdresser. I would highly recommend any woman or man to have thier hair done by Nicole. It was a great experience!!!!
Awesome day spa experience – I was finally able to make time to see Laura for a facial and have a pedi. This was the first time I had been to Laura and I'm so glad I've found a new spa in Portland that I love! My experience was relaxing and rejuvenating. My skin feels great and Laura did a great job on my make up. During my pedicure I enjoyed a glass of wine relaxed on their plush couch. I would most definitely recommend any of their spa services.
best bikini wax ever!!! – Last saturday I went to bliss for the first time and let me tell you it won't be my last. I've been to a few other places in portland for waxing but since I have verry thick hair no one seemed to be able to get it all out. I moved from chicago last year and was about ready to just give up on waxing when a friend told me about karen at bliss. The stress-eraser! – I'd heard about this Bliss place for awhile and upon investigating my bikini line and feeling the ache in my shoulders, I decided to sign up for a wax and a massage. My wax was actually a pleasant experience. My practitioner Laura was cracking me up the whole time and made me feel so comfortable. Bliss really is BLISS – I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I had a pedicure with Karen and a cut and color with Andrea and everything was just perfect. The pedicure room is beautiful and cozy and both Karen and Andrea were totally professional, friendly and relaxed. They gave me exactly what I was looking for and I had a wonderful, relaxing time. Also, the customer service and ambience were top notch. I will definitely be back - thank you Bliss!!
Great Stylist!! – I visited Bliss today for the first time and found a great stylist. Andrea did a really good color and an awesome cut on me, so I thought I should write to let everybody know that if you need a new stylist, Andrea is the one to go to, I am very happy!
Kristen did a great brazilian wax!!!!! – I've been to Bliss for waxing many times, this time I was a little upset because my regular girl was not available, I had to wait 2 days or try the new girl. So I chanced it and I was very glad I went ahead and tried Kristen, she was EXCELLENT, quick and painless. She was very sweet and professional. Thanks.
Call a different salon/ spa! – Don't go here for hair removal if you have sensitive skin. I went in 2 days ago to have my chin and brow done, I now have burns on my chin and a rash on my brow. Call another salon!

If there is ever a problem we want to make sure the client is happy and will make it up to them. We are experienced professionals with years in the beauty industry. Sometimes people have sensitivities to waxing if they are using any products containing Acutane, or other skin resurfacing treatments.
ah! stress relief! – I have to say that the owner Laura is one of the best massage therapists I have been to. I have been seeing her the past few months and she has helped me manage through some recent stressful times. I always leave feeling renewed and feeling a little happier about everything. She also does wonderful facials and is a great waxer! thanks Laura!
