I now live in Birmingham, Al... and I still fly home to Portland to get my hair done at Bliss by Amber Rae. Ive been seeing her for my hair for about three years and she gets it perfect every time... If you need a color specialist, shes it! :)

Nicole and Laura are amazing! – Loved Lillian! She's a new stylist at Bliss and I scheduled an appt with her when my other stylist cancelled. She was great! Young and fun, and cut and colored my hair just exactly like I wanted it. Give Lillian a try, she won't disappoint!

Bliss salon, a little hidden, but I'd consider them a needle in the haystack. I came in to see Amber Rae because of all her great reviews. Let me just tell you, they were right! I've got great haircuts, fun color and a much need keratin straightening, well worth the price! I finally trust my hairdresser to tell me the truth and keep my hair healthy, I recommend Amber Rae!

Thanks to Google Offers and a kind husband who bought it for me, I cashed in my voucher for a spa facial today and it was heavenly. Granted, I haven't had that many spa facials before and I am a new mama so the massage that accompanied the facial felt extra relaxing but she must have applied at least half a dozen mask/serum/lotion/scrub/exfoliation thingies. The first two pages of these reviews are from 2010/11 and there are not many. The rest are from 2009 when Bliss was in a different location and had many good stylists who then left, that is why they had to change location because they couldn't afford it with their best stylists gone. After reading all of the excellent reviews about Amber Rae I am wondering why she is still sticking with this sinking ship. If I was you I would go somewhere where you will be really appreciated. My experience at this salon was unsatisfactory as the stylist, Rae, was, as it turned out after a number of visits, very inconsistent. The lack of experience became apparent and finally it became clear to me why I seldom saw other clients in this salon.

Impressed! – I went to Bliss this afternoon and had a facial and brow wax with the owner Laura. There is such a difference in my skin it is unbelievable and my brows look amazing. I'll definitely be back to keep up on the brows. After the spa appointment, I had a trim and blow out with Samantha, she was very sweet and did a fabulous job, my hair is smooth with a bit of vintage wave that she created at the ends with her round brush.
