Very strange interaction at this spot today. Posted hours on the door say that the cafe is open until 8pm. No additional signage indicating an early closing or maintenance. Opened the door at about 2pm and was YELLED at by the staff behind the counter that they were closed. Turned around and started walking away. As we were doing so another customer walks in and was greeted cordially. So perplexed about this hours later.

This place is so cozy and the staff is friendly and they're open later than most coffeeshops - but PLEASE can something be done about the loud drink case in the corner? 😫 It's fine if you have headphones on if you're here to work, but not ideal for catching up with friends for coffeeshop talk. A friend and I ended up having to go elsewhere, as the noise from the drink case was too much for us. It's a great coffeeshop otherwise! Very kind & pleasant baristas, great pastry selection, and my drinks are always made perfectly. I’m usually able to find a seat - good amount of tables, a window bar, and some couches in the back corner. Sometimes the music is a little loud if you’re looking to read or work but otherwise impeccable vibes ily bleri’s beanery
