I had a varicose vein surgery in Blacktown hospital and happy to share how amazing the people were there! I am so sorry I can't recall all their names even though they all gave me their names. While I was there, I met 2 receptionist, 7 nurses and 3 doctors. Literally all of them were the ideal medical team! Made me so comfortable and answered all my questions. Sincerely appreciate their professionalism.
A serious and urgent investigation needs to be undertaken into Blacktown hospitals emergency department. How is it ok to have 8/9 out of 10 pain levels and to be expected to sit (if you can find a chair) in a waiting room for over 7 hours and no one bats an eyelid at you ? Went into the emergency room and waited for 3 hours with a friend who had an allergic reaction and was itching all over. TLDR we didn’t get any help. Good thing I was able to get her allergy meds before we came in and it calmed down a bit and we had to ultimately just leave. Also the person next to us has been waiting for 10 hours in the emergency room when he had a blood clot. No idea what happened to him but to make people in need wait that long is insane.
