Been in the ER 2 times this year. The worst waiting time ever, 10 hours + on both visits. The nurses and reception are nice but it feels like there's only 1 doctor working. The initial pain i had went away and the doctor said it should be fine but their boss decided to keep me waiting another 6 hours for an unessesary mri which exposes me to radiation. THE WORST HOSPTIAL EVER.
Worse experience in the emergency waited for over 2 hours.
The size of the ED has not changed for years its ridiculous. For something as minor as an injured toe you'd be waiting a minimum of 7 hours. That's what my son and I are experiencing today! My son injured his toe from a soccer game today and his nails were at a 90° angle. One of the nurses had the audacity to say after waiting 7 hours 'you may need to come back tomorrow to see an Orthopedic...unless you want to wait another 7 hours' with a smile on her face. Honestly when I was there I’m not gonna get into full detail but i was there originally there for my parenter who had a sezuire at a workplace he was being interviewed for the job semi, I got there and full not even kidding I was also having trouble twitching and talking wasn’t working full well was just like uh and tbh I hadn’t eaten in a while. Firstly: They don’t use sanitation processes. I had to wait here while I also had an open wound on my foot. It was a public holiday. People were coming in and vomiting everywhere. No clean up process was followed at all. I found this to be extremely unhygienic and also potentially dangerous. The entire place stinks of vomit. Staff didn’t sanitise or follow basic hygiene procedures. They don’t wear gloves.
