Dr. Blackford and her staff has been a blessing in our lives! Everyone there is so nice and they did a stupendous job on the amputation of my Redbone coonhound's leg, shoulder, and giant tumor. Because of them my dog is back to his old self again and gets to finish out living his life happily! Geoffrey rarely lets veterinarians touch him but he took to her very well. Thank you so much, Dr. Blackford and crew! You've shown us love and compassion, and Geoffrey loves you! Words can't even express my gratitude.
Dr. Blackford performed a FHO, neutered, extracted 4 puppy teeth and microchipped my sweet 6 month old Maltipoo, Chewie. He was lightly bearing weight within one day. One week later he is back to his old self chewing on everything and wanting to play. I'm so thankful we have Dr. Blackford in our area!
If I could get more stars for Dr. Blackford and her staff I would! She is the kindest and most compassionate doctor I have ever met! I can't describe the level of gratitude I have for her and I will not take my beloved pets anywhere but her wonderful clinic. She is THE BEST! Dr. Blackford and her staff are the bomb!!! She has done TPLO surgery on two of my yorkies and both were highly successful. Yesterday Barkley was declared cured after 9 weeks and is doing great. At 6 lbs. he was awarded the smallest knee ever award!! I have a third yorkie who has been evaluated and will be needing knee surgery at some point and Blackford Veterinary Surgery Referral will certainly get my business.
At 8 weeks TPLO post-op Buck was declared fully healed by Dr. Blackford and her staff. The day after I let Buck run just a bit and there's no limp whatsoever. That terrific gait he had pre-injury is back! I can't thank Blackford Vet enough. Like most I was nervous about the surgery, but following the recovery protocols set down by Dr. Blackford made for about as issue-less a process as could be expected. I don't just "like"..... We LOVE Dr. BLACKFORD!!!!!! She has done a total of 5 surgeries on 3 of my fur babies. She is an amazing surgeon and really cares about her patients and their mamas and papas. I would never trust another orthopedic vet to care for my babies the way that she does..... Well, maybe Callie who's following in her mamas footsteps!
