RecommendedWe took my brothers dog to see Dr Hodshon for what we thought was a tear in his ACL ..... after her thorough examination she found that he has Auto Immune Poly Arthritis .... if she had not found this we would have lost his dog ..... he was that ill. We were referred to Blackford by our veterinarian. So happy we traveled the 5 hour round trip journey. Would never go anywhere else. From Tammy, who put up with all my calls and questions...to Erin the Best, who spent so much time sharing her compassion, knowledge, reassurance and answering endless questions,....to Dr. Hodshon, who fixed our Rio with such expertise! Dr. Hodshon performed PTLO surgery on our 11 year old dog, Oreo. She explained the entire procedure and quickly put our anxiety and stress to rest. Oreo had the same surgery on his other leg five years prior with wonderful success as well. But he did so much better this time because we took the option of the 3 day numbing agent which managed his pain for the first few days.
