One of the most well-known restaurants on the Island, Blackbeards serves a diverse clientele, and for that reason it can get very busy during the tourism/spring break season. The menu contains a tempting mix of drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri, Rum Punch), sandwiches (Yellowfin Tuna, The Pearl - a fried oyster po' boy) and other seafood dishes (Ginger Teriyaki Tuna Steak, Stuffed Shrimp). Make sure to get Cheese Sticks with... well... everything! The restaurant opens at 11:30a everyday.

My family and I have eaten at Blackbeards several times, and we have found both food and service to be consistently good! I recommend the Mahi Mahi:) Kids love that they get ice cream for dessert (as part of the kid meal).
Food was really good the only problem I had was I clearly am 29 yrs old abd my friend with me was 29 she carded me but not her for a drink and she looks younger than me long story short I was frustrated but understanding ended up just hAving my friend order the drink anyways so not a big deal I got my cake and are it to lmao great place over all
One bad ASS dirty martini, great food, got 12 huge fried shrimp, steak fries, enormous onion ring and large plate of home made come slaw for 18.00. Prices were very reasonable bordering on cheap. Our waiter was good, service times were on par. All in all, a nice dining experience. Oh wife had stuffed shrimp. VERY tasty.

This was our 1st time here. I read that it is the top 10 to go to here. I came here for a birthday dinner for my husband. Our waiter James, rushed us to order and then asked us a few times what we had again. He never ever checked back with us for drinks or to even see if we enjoyed our food. The mashed potatoes seemed to be instant and not actually fresh. He also added an extra plate on our ticket and if we had not looked over it, we would have ended up paying for it. My husband and son ordered the country fried steak, which was good. However, because of their high prices you would think they would serve fresh vegetables, but they got instant mashed potatoes and canned green beans. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. There was so much vinegar in the sauce, that it felt like I was eating acid. I told the waitress that I could not eat this. She took it, but I was stilled billed for it. Mediocre food at high prices. Best on the island! They have great service and amazing food. Their seafood is always fresh and I am always one happy camper when I leave their establishment.
