One of the most well-known restaurants on the Island, Blackbeards serves a diverse clientele, and for that reason it can get very busy during the tourism/spring break season. The menu contains a tempting mix of drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri, Rum Punch), sandwiches (Yellowfin Tuna, The Pearl - a fried oyster po' boy) and other seafood dishes (Ginger Teriyaki Tuna Steak, Stuffed Shrimp). My sister and I have travelled to SPI the last couple of summers. Blackbeard's is our fav place to eat. The fried chips & salsa are the bomb, and I luv luv luv the tartar sauce! The staff has always been friendly. We had a waiter this last time, Sandro, that was especially kind and attentive. Hopefully, see you next summer!
Some of the best crab legs I've had in some time. Great food great drinks.
