I had dinner at blackbeard's(the place was highly recommend) with my family on vacation to spi last week it was a bad experience, the waitress did not want to be there 1st of all then brings kids their drinks no ice, I ordered steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes for 21.50 i received instant potatoes, shrimp that was frozen from ben e keith (mind you we were on the coast and fresh shrimp was very easy to get) and steak was not cooked like i asked and because the stick said it was per our perky waitress. Very reasonably priced, and the food was great. We tried their crab cakes, shrimp, and catfish. All was incredible. I loved how the shrimp was butterflied and cleaned. The catfish was crispy and tender. The crab cakes were fresh and delicious. My boys loved the hush puppies too. The service was incredible as well, Thanks Roman! We will be back soon!
The server sat us and left us there for 40 minutes no drinks not even I'll be right back. We drove all the way from Beeville just to eat there. Now we are at whataburger. Thanks for fuckin up my wife's birthday.

We have Dined there four times! The first was 1987, the latest has been the last week of February. The food is beyond great! Our servers were excellent! Going back tonight for take-out. You will enjoy this experience. Steve Green, Wichita Falls, Tx.
