Highly dont recomend this place to anyone. The line moves unbelievebly slow you will be there 3+ hours guranteed. I took my gf on monday afternoon it took us 4 hours to get in. They only have 3 flavors and it really doesnt taste that much diffrent to regular milkshake. Get ready to pay 15$ per one you buy and the bar is extremely tiny and staff is very rude. Trust me do NOT believe the hype.

Extremely dissatisfied with my experience tonight at Black Tap. Our group had arrived early specifically to try the special St. Patrick's Day shake. When we tried to order the shake we were told very unapologetically that it was sold out. When my friend inquired how it was sold out by 5:30pm, the waitress stated that it was sold out by lunchtime. Stood in 4 hour line around the block. Was well worth it considering I was only visiting NY for the first time and only for a few days. I got the Cotton Candy Shake, polished it off after also finishing a whole burger and fries! Definitely would like to experience again! Hopefully it won't be a crazy wait next time around. Shout out to Sean! Best bar tender ever!
I had just worked 16 hours & met up with my girlfriends. We stood on line for 5 COLD hours. Squeezed my whole behind on a barstool and was blown away by my Mexican burger, onion rings, and my sweet & salty milkshake! I wish you guys MUCH success and thank you for the awesome experience
We heard about the hype on Black Tap. We decided to go on Wednesday knowing we would probably be waiting in a long time. We got there at 9:30 pm. Black Tap closes at 11 pm. We waited an hour to finally get in. It felt like 20 min because we met some great people from Pomona, NY and from local and we had great conversation. Burgers- I wasn't asked how I like it, totally fine with that. Received a patty cooked slightly on the outside soft, pick and cold on the inside. Figured they are super busy honest mistake. Friend cuts into his same thing. When I ask for it to be cooked more. She told me "this is how all are burgers come, undercooked." She got an attitude with me. Sweet potato fries are amazing.
