My sister and I came there for lunch and got the special which was blackened swordfish. It was delicious and the staff was very accommodating with my food allergies! I will definitely go back when I am down at the outer banks, and I am excited about the new black pelican in Chesapeake, Virginia!!!
My sister and I had lunch there today. We both had the special... Blackened swordfish, grilled brocolini, dirty rice, and a fresh corn salsa. It was delicious, AND only $13.99!!!
Best cheeseburger I have ever had!!!! The baileys chocolate cake was amazing.
Went there for our 25th anniversary, the food was excellent and the service was good. Should of made reservations for it was very busy.
Excellent food and service as always. I got the captains choice prime rib blackened with Gouda mashed potatoes and it was delicious! Can't wait till next year to come back again!

Service and food was horrible! Our server was NOT attentive at all. Let me start off with the drinks. We ordered a pina colada which tasted like water slush and not a hint of coconut. The other two drinks ordered by our table was not great either. We sent the pina colada back and asked for a simple cranberry vodka and our server just took the drink and only said ok. Just got back from vacationing in the outer banks and loved the meal I had at the black pelican . Tuna steak sandwich for lunch was excellent. Service and staff were great as well . This will definitely be a regular stop when I'm down there.
One of the best meals I've ever had. The seafood risotto was delicious and we loved the coconut cream pie.
