I got the shrimp and grits. It was WAY too spicy. My husband and friend got the prime rib and it was delicious they say. My other friend got the crab cakes. She said they were good but not fantastic.
Our favorite in OBX. The Wanchese risotto is to die for
Wood fired pizza was awesome!!!!!! Great service and the top deck was outstanding. Thanks for a great lunch and visit!
Slow service. Sand still in scallops. Bland risotto.
I love eating at the Black Pelican, the food, the drinks and Oh the dessert. The atmosphere is wonderful and the music is so good.

Went to happy hour yesterday and sat outside on the deck and the service, food and atmosphere was amazing! Oysters were salty with little crabs, Black Pelican pizza and wings were so delicious! The blinds were pulled to help with the wind but you could still see the ocean and its huge waves! Love This time of year and Black Pelican!!!
Great dinner. Party of 8 and not one complaint...only raves. Highly recommend!
