Nice, cozy, beachy, old time restaurant. They have an extensive and varied menu and while the four of us ordered very different selections, everything was really good! Our first time there, but we'll be back.
We are here for our sibling retreat to Outer Banks. The Black Pelican is awesome! I can not recommend this place highly enough! What an awesome experience. Curtis is a wonderful and funny waiter.
Very friendly and fast service with super fresh food. I had the bacon wrapped scallops they were amazing. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area.
I had Steamed shrimp, 5* White seafood pizza 5* bread and butter with poppy seed 5* Key Lime pie 3.5* Overall the Black pelican delivered!! Waitress was on point. I will most def be back again!!

Food was delicious and the bloody mart was awesome! Best thing was the service!! Curtis BreeZe was the best waiter- fun, energetic and knowledgeable!
Waitress was very nice. Very welcoming when we arrived and no wait cause it’s not busy season yet and I’m not a tourist and heard a lot of good things. Food came out and tasted good. Didn’t eat it all cause my daughter was ready to go so we asked for a box. When the box arrived it came with a friend as well and he was very alive and running around. Food is good! Service was a bit slow. Waitress seemed seems as if she had no training on how to wait on tables.
Friendly staff, She Crab soup was delicious, Caesar salad was tasty and plentiful and my glass of Pinot Grigio complimented my lunch just right.
