This was our first visit to the Black Pelican. The clam chowder was good, but it’s not your typical chowder. It’s broth based, but it was still excellent. The vegetarian pasta was delicious. Both my daughter and I ordered it. The cream sauce is not too heavy, which I love, and it was loaded with vegetables! My other daughter got the five cheese pizza, and she ate all of it. Awesome food, fast service, great environment!! The Tuna bite appetizer is a must!! We will definitely be back!!
Bacon wrapped scallops were very good but maybe over cooked making them somewhat dry. I ate them all. The sweetpatato was perfect. Server was just the right attentive without being interruptive. Upstairs bar was great, Dirty Bird was delicious. Great setting and the sound was good, music enjoyable.
