RecommendedGreat food, friendly staff, amazing view of ocean!
The pizza appetizer and the spicy Cajun fish bites were delicious. Service was was excellent and very attentive. We enjoyed our entrees as well. Ambience was busy but comfort and very friendly. We would definitely visit again when we are in the area.

My favorite place on the Outer Banks to eat. But please bring back the clam chowder in the bread bowl.
Food was cooked well. Not much flavor though. Not much seasoning on any of the dishes and the salt shakers were literally corroded from moisture and couldn’t get the salt out of the shaker. Service was pretty good

Recently went for lunch with my fiancé, at the recommendation of my family members. The Black Pelican absolutely lived up to everything they said. The food was amazing, we were seated by a window overlooking the beach, and the staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We had the crab rangoon appetizer, which had pieces of real crab meat and was delicious, the tsunami tuna, and friend shrimp basket.
