Black Kite Coffee is an independent, locally owned coffee house that specializes in delicious coffees, teas, and savory pies. We make all of our food in house, completely from scratch, and we do our best to fulfill the foodie in all of us. Serving the Old West End and outlying Toledo community since 2012, we seek to revitalize the neighborhood meeting spot, where friends and neighbors can get together and know they will experience our best, every time.

RecommendedGreat coffee and better brunch!
I work very close to Black Kite and it would be extremely convenient for me to get my daily coffee there. Unfortunately, the few times that I have been there the staff has not been friendly. I asked, “what is in the strawberries and cream latte?” The answer I received was a snarl followed by, “uhm it’s a latte with strawberries and crème”? Well CLEARLY I could have guessed that much. Not a friendly answer, and certainly not the answer I was looking for. For that reason, I will not be back.

Stopped in after the OWE parade, very rude counter person today. My daughter ordered a machiatto, was told " We don't have those, this isn't Starbucks", its listed on the menu though?? Maybe some customer service training is needed

Hi Lori! Sorry for your experience today! We do serve a macchiato, but the macchiato that we serve is a traditional macchiato, which is only a single shot of espresso and foam. We apologize that there wasn't more of an explanation about the menu item! We strive to make every customer feel welcome and want to make sure that every drink and experience is a quality drink and a quality time. Please give us another try!
