Black Kite Coffee is an independent, locally owned coffee house that specializes in delicious coffees, teas, and savory pies. We make all of our food in house, completely from scratch, and we do our best to fulfill the foodie in all of us. Serving the Old West End and outlying Toledo community since 2012, we seek to revitalize the neighborhood meeting spot, where friends and neighbors can get together and know they will experience our best, every time.

Our friends at Local Thyme in Whitehouse, Ohio recommended we check out Black Kite Coffee. So glad we did! The food, coffee and service was Excellent! Right down in the old west end of Toledo near all of the beautiful homes. We highly recommend Black Kite as well. Thanks for the tip Local Thyme!
This is such a cute place. They were busy but we were patient and got a seat after a little while. Brunch was very good, big portions and inexpensive. I love the fresh juice and coffee was amazing!
The best!!! Excellent coffee, amazing pies/samosas, and the bagel balls are my favorite! But best of all is the people--from the owners to the staff to the customers and the wonderful community that surrounds this gem!
I have had the privilege to eat breakfast here many times and every single meal was "to die for". Excellent food and service.
My husband stopped in last evening to grab me a snack. The meat pie was wonderful! The garnish also spicy and flavorful. Unfortunately the young lady behind the counter was not so great. I hope she was just having a bad day,, my husband values a warm smile and friendly manner. He said neither was the case last night. She missed the mark.
Loved it and brought along a newbie and he loved it too!
