Birthday celebration dinner for mom -Wonderful service from start to finish, from the friendly and professional valet guys offering umbrellas to the hostess' greeting to our waitresses knowledge of the menu and time spent at our table on such a busy night and the busers attentiveness and fast clearing. Great food at a lovely setting oozing with history and ambience...the chef knows what he's doing back there!
For many years I would go for Sunday brunch when it was a buffet. Now it's just a sit-down with a few selections which are very delicious except that lately they have been stingy. You have to pay extra for coffee. How ridiculous is that? Also the desserts where not very fresh. The eclair was hard as a rock and my strudel was chewy and as for the bread, very dry but the main courses were delicious as usual.
Had the most wonderful birthday dinner - so warm and welcoming on a cold February evening. Everything was delicious! My friend booked your private dining room; it was so fun to have a space to ourselves with a gorgeous view of the river.

Had lunch there today. Had the "Lump Crabmeat Cake".It was NOT lump crab. It was the "claw meat". The little dark pieces......not one large piece of crab in the cake. I can get a better crab cake in Mrs. Paul frozen ones. I know my crab. I eat crab cakes all over the world. I am a also a great cook. Very very very disappointed. Do NOT say it is LUMP if it is NOT .
Love this place. Food is delicious, service is great. Perfect day!
