One of the best restaurants in the entire Birmingham area. Every time I have been here the food and service is excellent with a high attention to detail. Every dish I have had is amazingly delicious. My favorite is the shrimp and grits. It's in a little brick retail strip off of Vestavia in 31. They have added a new addition for seating with a nice bar area which has really added some ambiance to the restaurant. Now the ambiance is much closer to matching the quality of their dishes and service. Highly recommend. Love it!!!
We love eating at Bistro V! It's our favorite stop when we make it to Birmingham. We've tried several different things and nothing disappoints (including dessert). The spare ribs and potato cakes are my favorite!!
I have eaten at the Bistro V over the years and every experience gets better than the last. The service is amazing and the food is even better. 3 words only need to be said "shrimp and grits"!!!

Always eat here when we're in Birmingham. Great food especially the fried green tomato BLT which is my favorite dish there.

Rude management, unprofessional and insulting. Fake positive reviews by friends of owners, do not believe them. Deserves no business. Food is mediocre and overpriced.
A prideful and imprudent approach to customer service is the second most surefire way to go bankrupt, next to the IRS.
The short ribs are amazing! I try to stop here for a meal every time I am in Birmingham!!
