Bistro V is our favorite dining experience! The menu is great, and the specials never disappoint us. On our most recent visit, I enjoyed the shrimp and crab risotto, and we shared the appetizer of oysters, shrimp and calamari. When we want an excellent meal, Bistro V is at the top of our list.
Great service, fantastic food. The garden greens salad with fried okra was a revelation. The jumbo shrimp with cheese grits were superb. The homemade strawberry shortcake was a miracle. Wonderful!
Food and service was good as always. Our out-of-town dinner guests were very impressed.
I got the seafood bisque, which would have been fine if it had contained more than 3 pieces of seafood. I also got the shrimp and grits: It was very bland and visibly diluted and runny. I was happy with the service, but I won't waste anymore money there!
The Shrimp and Grits was amazing! Service was excellent as well as the amount of time to receive our food!
Great food and service every time I've been! One of my favorites in Birmingham! Great for lunch and dinner but I strongly recommend making a reservation!
