This is our third pregnancy with Yolanda, and we have loved having her as a midwife! Highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a home birth! My first home birth (4th baby) was 3 weeks early and we had no problems. Our second we lost at 20 weeks and she was so compassionate and helpful. This last little guy came on my birthday this past Saturday and Yolanda was great at encouraging, massaging sore hips and helping him to arrive safely into this world! Such personal care can be so hard to find!
With grace, knowledge, and a genuine love for what she does, Yolanda guided me through pregnancy and a lengthy labor and delivery, so that my partner and I could have a beautiful home birth a couple of days ago. I can not recommend her enough!
Yolanda was a beautiful care taker. At the very end of my pregnancy, my stubborn baby decided to flip breech. Yolanda was immediately so compassionate as she explained my choices and made sure I was as comfortable and knowledgeable as I could be! I couldn’t have asked for a better care provider both in her technical expertise and her caring nature. I’d be happy to discuss more at length. Thank you Yolanda.
Yolanda just served my family for the third time and each and every time I realize why I hire her, she’s the perfect fit for me. I always say we all have our own midwife. You know the ones that just fit us. Well Yolanda is my fit. She keeps me straight and encouraged. I need the a balance of pampering, encouragement and telling me how it is. She fits that perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about our home birth experience with Yolanda! I knew I didn’t want a hospital birth but I knew very little about home birth (and pregnancy/childbirth in general). Yolanda was incredibly patient, thoughtful and gave us all the information and support we needed to navigate this experience. She continually reminded me that I am strong and capable, believing in me and my ability from the very beginning. Thank you Yolanda, we are forever grateful for you.
