My journey into motherhood has been quite different than I had expected and Yolanda has been a steady presence and resource through my whole experience. I trusted Yolanda immediately due to her years of experience, humility, and honesty and I am glad that I did. Yolanda was the perfect guide for me and I will forever cherish my pregnancy, labor and birth.
My first experience with home birth was so great that there was no question what to do with the second. Both my boys were born at home and I wouldn't have it any other way. There is no one else I would trust as much as Yolanda to guide me. I have great memories of my births because of her.
We are forever grateful to Yolanda for everything she has done for us through our pregnancy and home birth. My husband, Nick and I had been thinking a lot about a home birth after we attended the 4 week childbirth classes at Renew Mama Studio and the knowledge we walked away with. Words cannot express the amazing experience we had with Yolanda and Birth Song. Yolanda is professional, knowledgeable, kind, caring, soothing, respectful and most importantly she gave me the confidence to know that I can do what us women were meant to do! I never once doubted myself or her ability to help me have a baby. I will never forget Yolanda and the experience of having my first child at home and I cannot imagine doing it any other way. Thank you Yolanda, you are truly an angel!
We have had three home births with Yolanda and each one has been a special and unique experience. We are very thankful for her calming and encouraging spirit. I also loved my prenatal as I was educated on how my body works and how to be my best for birthing. Thanks Yolanda!
I am so thankful for Yolanda. She is an extremely wise, skilled, compassionate and gregarious woman. She assisted the births of my now 18 and 15 year old daughters, Tovah and Nehara. I remember feeling so comforted and empowered by her at the same time. She will forever hold a place in my heart.
I came to Yolanda after being told it wasn't safe to have a homebirth with a two vessel umbilical cord, something that I knew just wasn't true, and so did she.
