Yolanda is a wonderful person and a very professional midwife. Each appointment was an hour long so we could take the time to talk about each stage of the pregnancy and what to expect during the birth. My son was a month early and breech, so I opted to transfer to a hospital. Overall experience was 100% better than any doctor I've visited.

After two hospital births, we decided to have a home birth. We could not be more happy with our decision. Yolanda helped me feel so informed and completely empowered. She ended up being out of town when I finally went into labor (something we had discussed and we were comfortable with prior to hiring her), and there was not one bit of concern. I very highly recommend Birth Song!! Yolanda is an amazing, highly experienced midwife who will answer your questions and do everything in her power to ensure that mother and baby are healthy and happy. I have now had THREE amazing home births under Yolanda's care, and they were all wonderful, safe experiences! Her direct, confident approach relieved any apprehension going into birth - we knew we had a skilled care giver who really cared about our well being!

What an amazing experience! Yolanda was everything that I needed... Moments when I was unsure about what was to come she reminded me that my body was created to birth... Yolanda is absolutely gifted! We have had two children at home with her. She is the perfect balance of a compassionate, kind, and confident presence at a birth. She is extremely knowledgable and we absolutely had perfect peace from start to finish with her services. So this review is from a husbands perspective. Yolanda is absolutely wonderful on every level. She has a very calm cool and collective personality at all times. As soon as she walked in the door when my wife was in labor she was so encouraging and supportive. The education that she gave us helped prepared both of us. This was our first baby and we fully intend on having Yolanda deliver all of our babies!
