From the first time I met Yolanda I felt a sense of peace about birthing at home. Her knowledge and experience gave me the confidence that my body could do what it needed to do. This proved true during prenatal appointments and even more so during the birth. She had a sense of calm at every turn during the birth process, and believed in me when I needed encouragement. My home birth with her was an amazing experience!
Yolanda is an angel. I'm pretty sure I would have crumbled during the birthing process had it not been for her strength and calm in the storm! (That and my husband being a freaking rock-star!) Our birth didn't really go as planned (ended up at the hospital w/ a c-section) but I am forever indebted to Yolanda for her wisdom throughout pregnancy and birth (and especially postpartum, she kept me grounded!) We love Yolanda!! Little Sadie is a year old this month already. I was sad to not see her every month after she was born! She is truly amazing. I felt I had exceptional care and attention at every visit! I highly recommend her to anyone wanting a home birth! Our home birth didn't go quite as we imagined but Yolanda was so calm and comforting through the entire process!
Having a home birth with Yolanda was by far the best experience I could have ever hoped for. She graciously and patiently help welcome our two daughters into the world while creating a loving and peaceful environment. I always felt safe, educated, and empowered.
