After finding out we were expecting I knew I needed someone with a gentle presence to walk along side me and teach me what it would be like on this birth journey. Yolanda is such a blessing with her knowledge and experience and every appointment she painted a clearer picture on just how incredible pregnancy can be! Her steadiness, excitement and confidence helped to reassure me in my ability to grow and birth a baby. We feel so grateful to have had her wisdom and strength walking us to baby Main's early birthday!!
I recommend Yolanda if you are looking for a nice peaceful homebirth. We just experianced our first hombirth and it was amazing! Yolanda brings a calm peaceful essance to the home. I was very comfortable with her from the first time we met. That really goes such a long way when she will be with you at one of you most vulnerable points in life. If we are fortunate to have another baby we would use her again.
We just had our third homebirth 2 weeks ago. I couldn’t have asked for a better birth experience than I had with each of my boys. I am so grateful for all the encouragement and support that Yolanda gives throughout the entire 9 months. This last birth was my biggest baby, much bigger at 9lbs 4oz, but was also the fastest 4 1/2 hours. We just had our third home birth with Yolanda Visser. And once again, it was such a wonderful, joyful experience. She has such a respect for the birthing process and for helping us welcome our children in such a warm gentle environment. But she also has so much wisdom and knowledge about how to have a healthy pregnany and birth, both for mom and baby. I cannot even begin to express how thankful I am to have been under her care and to have her as a dear friend.
