RecommendedWithin minutes of meeting Yolanda I knew she was the midwife for us. She has an energy that puts you at ease. I love how she explains everything and reasoning for doing it. I highly recommend Birth Song Midwifery.
I’ve come here several times to write a review and nothing I type seems to do Yolanda justice. The very first call I made to her I knew she was the right fit for our family. I felt heard and at peace. That feeling stayed throughout my pregnancy. I felt welcomed, informed, and respected. It was truly an honor to work with her.
Yolanda was absolutely wonderful! My wife and I just had our first child at home under her supervision. Her care was spot on, she helped us through proper positioning, rest times, etc. as well as preparing us both mentally. As a healthcare professional I had some concerns about home birth, but Yolanda offered intelligent reassurance and informative care at every possible point. I loved our birth, the care my wife and son received, and the outlook on birth through Yolanda's understanding. I can't recommend her highly enough!
Our experience with Yolanda has been so wonderful! She has been my midwife with both of my children and actually delivered me as well! She exudes confidence and competence. I always feel respected and informed every time I talk with her. I can’t imagine a better caregiver for this most beautiful part of life.
Yolanda is absolutely wonderful to work with! She is extremely knowledgeable and completely put my husband and I at ease throughout my entire pregnancy. She takes time to explain everything in depth. We left every prenatal appointment feeling confident and heard. While our birth didn’t go completely as planned, we still had the support and love of Yolanda throughout the entire process. Our healthy beautiful home birth baby girl Riley is 7 weeks today! 💕
The first time I met Yolanda, she was delivering my nephew. My sister was in labour at my parents, and everyone was understandably a bit nervous. I was determined to have a home birth even though I am over 40 and these days considered a ‘geriatric pregnancy’. A lot of my family had Yolanda as their midwife and I had pretty much decided to go with her because of that. But then I found out how long she has been a midwife and how many babies she’s delivered, it was a no brainer! She is great! She’s No nonsense and full of knowledge! She made me feel so comfortable about everything!
