Bird Cafe is the go-to place for a casual, relaxed evening out on the town. Located on the vibrant Sundance Square, the cafe is housed in a historic building dating back to the Victorian times, and has tried to retain that unique character. The walls are peppered by exclusive artwork by local artists, Scott and Stuart Gentling, whos bird portraits form the perfect backdrop for this bird-themed restaurant. The chef-driven menu is the culinary creation of David McMillan. The small plates and delightful appetizers are ideal to ... read more

So disappointed. Grossly overpriced. Undercooked mussels, tasteless salad, room-temp veal & oddly seasoned asparagus. You would think a “high-end” restaurant’s server would remember to give you silverware or refill your drink. The only saving grace was being able to hear the live band playing in Sundance Square from the patio. Definitely will not go back, and regret not sending back our entrée.
First time here. Interesting menu and drinks. Bartender was great at beer food pairing! Definitely returning.
I've been here a few times and the food has been excellent every time. Their staff seems to be well trained. I commend them for their attention to detail. The décor also makes for a nice setting. Of the places I've eaten in Fort Worth, this is one of the best.
It was exactly what we were looking for! We came from Michigan to go to game and stayed at Embassy. We just wanted to walk around and enjoyed Sundance Square and people watching.
Yesterday was the second time we've been there. Excellent service, friendly staff, excellent variety in food choices.
Not my favorite experience. Went for our anniversary. Deviled eggs and Caesar salad we're mind of bland. Wife had the shrimp and grits. She loved them. I had the rack of lamb. The cous cous was good. But, the dish lacked mint and yogurt described in the menu. Service was just ok. When we mentioned it was our first time, he hastily mentioned the food was meant to be shared and walked off. He was not around much after that. It will be awhile before we go back.
