Brunch and waiter was wonderful. however, the hostes not so much. We opted to set on the patios & was told we were next, as we waited 4 other parties where seated....huumm, so Nic inquired and she said she forgot. So she proceeded to seat 2 other parties. I was getting frustrated. I keep my cool & we finally got seated. Thank goodness the waiter was great.
Hostess' were decent. Food was average with an attempt at being "foodie". Waffles were hard and cold, salsa was good, cheese omelette was nothing special. Eggs and hash were boring, no sauce of any kind. Could have made at home. Ran out of daily special - who does that on Mother's Day weekend. There was a little 'tart' of a server (not our server) who litterally stood on the other side of the table and THRUST my daughters food plate in her face as if to say 'here take this'!!! Third trip to The Bird Cafe. This time for brunch. Had to send one dish back it was so cold, and there was an attention to detail that was missing on this visit that left me disappointed. Service was mediocre at best, and they were not that busy. I'll try one more time because my first two experiences were so good.
The Salmon thing was absolutely disgusting. It was a cool environment but literally everyone I was with didn't like the food and I am so not a picky eater.
