Bird Cafe is the go-to place for a casual, relaxed evening out on the town. Located on the vibrant Sundance Square, the cafe is housed in a historic building dating back to the Victorian times, and has tried to retain that unique character. We sat at the bar and they forgot to turn in our order and we were going to be late for our play at Bass Hall. We were right in front of bartenders how could they forget!
Lovely outdoor setting, but that’s where the enjoyment stops. When you look over the menu four times to find something worth ordering, you know you’re in trouble. Food was over cooked, bland and unremarkable.
The food was good but the menu was weird with few options. The beer selection was poor.
Went there before a show at the Bass, even though it was busy, we got patio seating in 10 minutes and the food was very good, wine and beer selection was great, and we made the show on time. We will definitely be back.
Best Wagyu steak ever!!! Better than Bonnells and Del Friscos! It does NOT disappoint!
