RecommendedCan not be more pleased! Dr. Murphy is bright, caring and great with our babies and their parents (which is sometimes tougher than the little ones) as well as a great teacher. I strongly recommend BVH. For those that feel he should always “squeeze” just one more fur baby in... how would we feel if we were not taken on time for an appointment if the Doctor was held up. We all know how we feel when a “people” doc keeps us waiting and none of us want to hear “he had an emergency”. Keep up the good work Dr. M and staff!
RecommendedIf you want the very best for your fur babies, Birchwood Veterinary Hospital is the place. Dr. Murphy and his staff are exceptional. So happy I found this great group of compassionate people. Thank you for all you did for my Indy. If only I found you sooner the outcome may not have been the same. So glad you will be caring for Boone and Asher.

Thank you Dr. Murphy and the Birchwood staff. After our kitty was missing for a month and then returned I called to make an appointment for her. I hoped to get her in in a week or two, but they said he had finished his surgeries early that day and they could see her that day! Lilly is doing great and I never feel over charged.
I have always felt this office was top notch until this morning when I called and voiced my concerns about the sickness of my dog and I was brushed off by Devon and told that it was probably stress from us being gone on vacation and that they had already seen several dogs this morning with the same symptoms. My dog died today of multi organ failure. She suffered until I found a Vetinary office to see her. I love Dr Murphy and his staff! I called yesterday morning hoping for an appointment once I noticed my cat was holding her right eye shut. Devin helped me on the phone. He was very informative, knowledgeable and kind. They were completely booked but they were able to squeeze us in. I was warned about having to wait since they are squeezing me in.
