Dr. Baumgartner did a trapeziecomy with tight rope suspension surgery on my left hand, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! He was thorough and confident every step of the way and was always very responsive when I had questions. He has outstanding bedside manner and made sure to check on me during an overnight hospital stay. I wish I could offer more stars!!! Dr.Baumgartner and his entire staff are the absolute best! After four months of continuous pain post an orthopedic injury ,and inadequate management by another provider, I was so very fortunate to become a patient of Dr.B. Dr. Baumgartner's and his staff is everything you want medical care to be. I live in Fort Collins, but after being very frustrated with wait times and poor service at the large 'premier' ortho office in town, I asked around for a referral. Thankfully, someone pointed me in the direction of Dr. B. I will gladly drive to Greely to have a doctor that actually reviews my MRI with me in detail and takes the time to discuss my options (instead of just ushering me into surgery). I've seen Dr Baumgartner several times for a shoulder injury (now on the road to recovery) and have found him to be highly capable, with excellent communication skills, takes time to explain everything thoroughly, and in general, inspires trust. I highly recommend him.
I was in from out of town due to a family emergency and was having a great deal of pain in my hand. Trying to get into a hand specialist in Fort Collins was not an option... I would have had to wait 3 months. Dr Baumgartner's office got me in within 2 days. I had no idea if he was good or not and just accepted the appointment in Greeley as I needed a diagnosis and relief fast, so I could continue to deal with the family emergency.
