I have very old fiberglass garage doors that had very old locks which had rusted and no longer worked. It took some elbow grease on the techs part, but he was successful at getting the old locks out and news one installed!! OH and much to my surprise, they had a great selection of vintage door knobs SO I was able to replace a broken bedroom doorknob. :)

Bill's now has a customer for life! Major mom fail of leaving the keys and my daughter in the car after she pressed the lock button. Bill's was there in 5 minutes or less (just happened to be working close by). Great/friendly customer service, started working fast to get into my car. Within minutes I had my daughter in hand! When we were ready with payment we were told no charge, they were just glad they could help us get our daughter out safely! I will recommending Bill's to everyone! Thank you so much!!!

I was locked out of my son's house with my almost two year old granddaughter inside by herself. I was panicking! Bill's key and lock sent out a young man, I didn't even get his name. He worked quickly and got me inside. He then had to make a key for the knob to get the knob back on the door. When he was done I asked how much I owed him. He said "no charge, I'm just glad I could get you in the house to your granddaughter" I am so thankful! I highly recommend this business!

Had an antique mortise lock that was broken. I took in into the Bloomington shop to find a new latch. It was an odd ball lock and after trying many latches we couldn't find one to fit and I was told he could make one. Wanting to preserve the hardware in my home, I left it with him. Less than 3 hours later he call me and told me it was fixed and ready to go. The bill was $5.00?!? I picked it up and the bolt looked like it came in it from the factory.
