If only Barbara B. was there to join us . Three friends and I went to Billingsley's on Saturday night. 09/12/2009. It was the first time that three of us have been there. Yes, the building is old, and yes, the atmosphere and decor reminds me of the 1960's and the clientele tended to be on the older side. However, the experience we had was enjoyable. Billingsley's Restaurant is past its prime Many years ago, When Beaver's Mom (Barbara Billingsley) owned it, Billingsley's Restaurant was very good for food or drinks. Now it is just old and slow, with mediocre food. My folks, in their late 80's and mid 90's, don't even like it any more. Too bad, it was great.
Good Food Great food, wonderful atmosphere, very good service, and the green goddess dressing was to die for. Many happy memories going there with my family.
Dark and Old This place is great if you are over 70 and looking for an early bird special... The food is overcooked and too salty. The place has no windows, so it's always dark in there. The service was OK.
RecommendedI'm from Montana. this state used to be known worldwide for beef based meals, but Billingsley's puts most of Montana's best restaurants to shame. I discovered Billingsley's while temporarily living on the WestSide and enjoyed the history, and decor there. The ribs are great! I can't wait until my next visit to LA and meeting friends there.

Thanks for the slop you guys tried to pass off as edible food! Everything about our Thanksgiving dining experience here was absolutely awful! Unfriendly staff, slow service, grumpy old waitress named Lulu, fat lazy manager..... As you can see what they tried to pass off as stuffing, more like baby food :p This^^ is not even what was served to us, portions were much smaller! $30 for an awful meal and awful service! :poop:
