Great shop; wonderful people. Very patient, and expert help for the new rider, the computer, and the accomplished serious cyclist.
Massive kudos to Jan at Bikekinetic in Falls Church. I bought a nice Jamis 20" off CL for one of my twins. The original owner had removed the rear handbrake and brake mount studs. Discovered that the Al frames use M10x1.25 threaded brakes studs which are unobtainium locally. Once I told Jan the problem he pointed me to one major cache of assorted parts while he searched another and FOUND two matching take-off studs M10 x 1.25!!! I brought my Stumpjumper in after four years of not servicing it and these guys did an amazing job bringing it back to life. Not only did they do a great job but I got it back within a week is pretty much impossible anywhere else during the summer season. When I went to pick my bike up I was going to drop another one off for service. This bike is a donation bike for a little girl who's mother had stage three cancer and her dad has been deployed for the para two years.
