I am so grateful for Bike World I called them at 5:55 and they were already closed at 5 on Saturday and he told me he had what I needed in stock and he opened its doors for me and my son. I can't be any more grateful for that now that's customer service and that's how we should run our stores thank you Bike World for helping my son get his wheel back on so he's not on the road
I have gone to this shop twice, both times in tears because of something stupid I did with my bike. As IN, I put the bike in my Prius and couldn't get it out. Another time, I had trouble riding my bike and discovered that I had reversed the steering part 180 degrees and was riding with my brakes on!! In both cases, the guys at that shop assured me I wasn't the complete idiot I felt I was. They corrected the issue and TAUGHT me how to remove my wheel, and put it back on. Tom at the Urbandale location is the best in my book. Every time I've gone in there he's always been right on top of everything and is just an out going very nice guy. He helped me fit into the right bike. (Haven't ridden in over 15yrs)
Best bike shops in DSM! Be sure to find the store closest to you. Besides the Urbandale store, there is a store in Ames and the new flagship store in WDM at 50th and EP True. They are there to help you not just sell something.
